Brookings, S.D. (12/20/2023) – The Dacotah Bank Center announces the success of its 2023 Tough Enough to Wear Pink campaign, raising $2,343.22. The entirety of these funds are directly donated to the Brookings Health System Foundation to support essential services for local cancer patients in Brookings, SD.
Expressing gratitude for the support received, Jason Merkley, President and CEO of Brookings Health System, commented, "Brookings Health System and our Foundation are grateful for the continued support of the Dacotah Bank Center’s Tough Enough to Wear Pink campaign. The campaign builds local awareness about breast cancer issues while supporting area cancer patients within our community. We look forward to the benefits these funds will help to create in 2024."
Since its inception in 2006, the Dacotah Bank Center's Tough Enough to Wear Pink campaign has raised a cumulative total of over $67,217. Working in close collaboration with the Brookings Health System Foundation, the Dacotah Bank Center staff ensures the effective distribution of funds. The community's steadfast support has enabled the campaign to assist numerous cancer patients in Brookings.
