ACCEPTED METHODS OF PAYMENT
Cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover are all accepted methods of payment at the Dacotah Bank Center.
Personal checks must include name, address, driver’s license number, and telephone. No out-of-state checks are accepted at the Active Heating Box Office. Company checks are accepted for group ticket orders only.
ADDITIONAL FEES
All tickets are subject to a facility fee. The facility fee is built into the advertised price of the ticket. The price you see listed on our website is the price you pay when purchasing in-person at the Active Heating Box Office. Purchasing tickets at the Active Heating Box Office is the only way to avoid service fees.
When purchasing online at Ticketmaster.com, there are several additional fees added on. Generally, there is a Service Fee/Charge and Order Processing Fee, a Resale Service Fee, a Delivery Price, a Facility Charge, and Taxes included. Service fees are charged on all online Ticketmaster orders on a per ticket basis to cover the costs that allow Ticketmaster and Dacotah Bank Center to provide a range of convenient purchasing options. Fees vary by event and ticket price.
ACTIVE HEATING BOX OFFICE
Tickets will be available for purchase at the Active Heating Box Office on the first day of ticket sales unless otherwise noted.
The Active Heating Box Office is located in our main lobby at the Dacotah Bank Center and can be accessed directly through our main lobby doors. Free and accessible parking is available directly in front of our facility while purchasing tickets.
Only tickets for events hosted at the Dacotah Bank Center will be available for sale at the Active Heating Box Office.
BUYER BEWARE
Ticketmaster is the official ticketing partner of the Dacotah Bank Center. That means Ticketmaster is the only authorized retailer of tickets for the Dacotah Bank Center, sold at our Active Heating Box Office and online at Ticketmaster.com.
Ticketmaster and the Active Heating Box Office are the ONLY authorized sources for Dacotah Bank Center tickets. Tickets purchased secondary ticket market and third party websites (scalpers, Craigslist, eBay, StubHub etc.) may be invalid, more expensive, and/or ineligible for assistance. If you purchase tickets from any other source, we cannot guarantee the validity of the ticket and you risk being denied admission as well as being denied refunds and/or exchanges if it is found to be fraudulent. If you have questions, please call our Active Heating Box Office at 605-692-7539.
Avoid unintentionally buying tickets from ticket resellers (i.e. sources who resell tickets at many times the face value). Here are a few simple BUYER BEWARE tips:
- If you are purchasing online, purchase your tickets from Ticketmaster.com ONLY. Our venue official website (www.dacotahbankcenter.com) redirects to Ticketmaster.com when you click the "Buy Tickets" link.
- Tickets may be posted for resale on Ticketmaster.com. These resale tickets are guaranteed because they are verified by Ticketmaster’s system.
- If you see unusually high-priced tickets or tickets for sale on a website other than Ticketmaster.com, you are most likely buying from an unverified second-party ticket reseller. If you buy from a second party seller, we cannot guarantee the validity of the ticket and you risk being denied admission, refunds and/or exchanges if your ticket is found to be fraudulent.
Customers with invalid tickets are welcome to purchase valid tickets at the Dacotah Bank Center Ticket Office. Seating location and price based upon availability.
CANCELLED OR POSTPONED EVENTS
In the event a performance is cancelled or rescheduled, information is immediately sent to the local media for distribution and placed on the Dacotah Bank Center website. We will also send an email to the database of purchasers for that event, if contact information is available.
If an event is cancelled, refunds will be available at the original point of purchase. The paid ticket price will be refunded. Fees and charges associated with the ticket purchase may be retained.
If an event is rescheduled, tickets purchased for the original date will be honored at the new date. In most cases, refunds will also be available at the original point of purchase up until the new date has passed.
The Dacotah Bank Center is not responsible for tickets purchased through unauthorized sources.
CHILDREN'S TICKETS
For most Dacotah Bank Center events, children two (2) years of age and older require a ticket for admittance. Children under the age of two (2) will be allowed free entry; however, they are required to sit on the lap of a ticket holder. Family shows most often require a ticket for children age one (1) and older. Please see specific event details for more information on ticket age requirements.
DOOR OPENING TIME
For most events, doors open sixty (60) minutes prior to start time. This may vary by event. For specific information, please call our Active Heating Box Office at 605-692-7539 or check the event specific page.
GROUP SALES
Specific shows/events allow group discounts at the permission of the event organizer. The number that is considered to be a group varies on a show-by-show basis. If you are interested in a specific show, please contact our Active Heating Box Office directly at 605-692-7539.

INFLATED PRICES
Dacotah Bank Center does not provide tickets to companies such as “StubHub.com” or “Ticketsnow.com.” If tickets are not yet on sale for an event but you see tickets for sale on these sites, please note these sites are “speculating” that the sections they have listed will be available for them to sell. Re-sellers don’t buy tickets themselves. They provide an online marketplace for ticket brokers or individuals looking to sell and consumers looking to buy.
The only authorized ticket sales locations for the Dacotah Bank Center are:
- Active Heating Box Office - located in our main lobby at the Dacotah Bank Center
- Online at Ticketmaster.com - locate the event and select "See Tickets"

LOST, STOLEN OR DESTROYED TICKETS
Any lost or stolen ticket that was purchased online at Ticketmaster.com can be reprinted at our Active Heating Box Office. The person who ordered the tickets along with the proper credit card and photo I.D will be required.
If you believe your ticket has been stolen, please contact our Active Heating Office directly at 605-692-7539. We can replace your ticket with a new bar code and block the previous ones.
The Dacotah Bank Center is not responsible for tickets purchased through unauthorized sources.
MOBILE TICKETS
Mobile tickets generate codes that you pull up on your phone and take directly to the ticket scanners. If you selected mobile tickets through Ticketmaster, load the codes on your phone prior to arriving at the Dacotah Bank Center to make sure you can access your ticket on your phone as large crowds can impact WiFi access. Codes are valid for entry ONLY when presented on your mobile device. They are not valid printed on paper.
ONLINE TICKET PURCHASE
There are several options for delivery when purchasing tickets online through Ticketmaster.com. These options may vary by event. Options include:
- Mobile: Your tickets are automatically uploaded to the Ticketmaster mobile app. Login to the Ticketmaster mobile app on your phone to see your tickets. Prior to arriving at the Dacotah Bank Center, load your tickets on your phone to make sure you can access your ticket.
- Print-at-Home: Ticketmaster will email you an electronic version of your ticket that you can print at home.
- UPS: Choose a 2-day, 3-day, or Saturday delivery (US only).
- US Mail: Ticketmaster will print your physical tickets and ship them to the address you provide. Please note that this option will include an additional delivery fee and takes 10-14 days.
- Will Call: Pick up your tickets at the Dacotah Bank Center Ticket Office. You will be asked to present the card used to purchase tickets as well as a valid photo ID.
PRESALES
Presales are often offered through an artist, sponsor group, venue, and/or media group to allow subscribers to purchase tickets before the general onsale. To sign up for an artist fan club, visit the artist website for instructions.
Pre-sales give you the opportunity to purchase tickets before the general public; they do not necessarily guarantee the best seats available.

PRINT-AT-HOME TICKETS
If you selected print-at-home tickets through Ticketmaster, make sure your printed version is good quality. Confirm the barcode is legible. Place your tickets in a safe location until the day of the show. Bring your print-at-home tickets to the event and present them to be scanned.
PROTECT YOUR TICKET
Each ticket has a one-of-a-kind barcode. Sharing this information can compromise your tickets. Keep your investment safe.

SCAMMERS & TICKET FRAUD
There are unscrupulous vendors who will sell you outright fraudulent tickets. Ticket scams happen when a scammer uses tickets as bait to steal your money. The scammer will sell fake tickets. Or you will pay for a ticket but never receive it. Ticket scams are common, especially when popular concerts, plays, and sporting events sell out. Scammers take advantage of the situation by:
- Charging prices much higher than the face value of a ticket
- Creating counterfeit tickets with forged barcodes and logos of real ticket companies
- Selling duplicates of a legitimate ticket and emailing it to several buyers
- Pretending to sell tickets online to steal your credit card information
The only authorized ticket sales locations for the Dacotah Bank Center are:
- Active Heating Box Office - located in our main lobby at the Dacotah Bank Center
- Online at Ticketmaster.com - locate the event and select "See Tickets"
The Dacotah Bank Center uses bar code scanning for ticket admissions. As a result, patrons should be careful when purchasing tickets and should always purchase tickets either in person at the Active Heating Box Office or online at Ticketmaster.com.
All other purchasing sites and sources are not supported by the Dacotah Bank Center nor are guaranteed to have valid tickets.

SECONDARY TICKET MARKET
If you are purchasing tickets from any other source, it is likely you are purchasing tickets on the secondary ticket market (scalpers, Craigslist, eBay, StubHub etc.) or from a scammer. Secondary ticket markets often make it appear that they have “special access” to the best seats. However, in reality, all they are doing is purchasing tickets from the Dacotah Bank Center and reselling them to you at a markup. Even when the secondary ticket market is operating within the law, you still pay more than you need to and not one cent of the markup goes to the artist or the Dacotah Bank Center, who invested the time and money to make the show possible in the first place.
The only authorized ticket sales locations for the Dacotah Bank Center are:

TEXT VERIFICATION
For added security, Ticketmaster may ask for your phone number. Ticketmaster will text you a code to enter when purchasing tickets. This ensures that you are a real person and are not a bot trying to buy tickets.
