Community Involvement

Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for our community. That means being a good community partner. Community involvement is the power to bring positive, measurable change. Committing to service and volunteering activities provides our team the opportunity to become active members of the Brookings community while providing a lasting, positive impact.

Lending our helping hands.

Tough Enough to Wear Pink

TOUGH ENOUGH TO WEAR PINK

The Dacotah Bank Center Tough Enough to Wear Pink campaign takes place every October. Funds are donated directly to the Brookings Health System Foundation and are used to promote local cancer screening benefits, such as regular mammograms. 100% of all campaign proceeds stay local to fight cancer and help patients right here in Brookings.

Are you tough enough?

Uncle Sam Jam

UNCLE SAM JAM

Every summer turns into a blast with our Uncle Sam Jam! It takes place right here at our venue on July 4. It is a fun-filled family festival to celebrate our nation's independence day. The whole community is invited to enjoy the annual City of Brookings fireworks display.

Celebrate with a bang! If you would like more information on this event pertaining to event involvement and sponsorships, please contact our Director of Partnerships here Email
