Brookings, S.D. (September 21, 2026) – The Dacotah Bank Center is proud to announce the return of its annual Tough Enough to Wear Pink campaign. This year’s message, “Be Tough. Join the Fight. Wear Pink.” calls on the community to stand together in support of those impacted by cancer.
Online presales begin today at dacotahbankcenter.com/ToughEnoughStore. Presale orders will be available for pickup beginning October 1 at the Active Heating Box Office. In-person orders also begin October 1. Delivery is not available this year.
Campaign Details
- Online presales begin September 21

- Available at the Active Heating Box Office, Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Campaign runs through the Brookings PRCA Rodeo Pink Night on November 6
- Every dollar raised will be donated to the Brookings Health System Foundation to support cancer awareness and patient care in the Brookings community.

This year’s shirt embodies the campaign’s unifying theme with a natural ivory soft tee featuring pink “fight” surrounded by checker print and supportive words with cancer ribbons border.

The “Think Pink Challenge”
Local businesses are invited to select one day each week in October for employees to wear their Tough Enough shirts, creating a visible show of community-wide support in the fight against cancer.
Local Impact
All funds raised remain in Brookings County, supporting local cancer patients. The campaign also promotes awareness of the importance of mammograms, regular screenings and self-exams.
Since kicking off in 2006, Tough Enough to Wear Pink has raised $75,798 for the local community, made possible by the generosity of Brookings-area residents, businesses and organizations.
