Experience the thrill and excitement at the 68th annual Jackrabbit Stampede Rodeo, presented by South Dakota State University’s esteemed rodeo team and produced by Sutton Rodeo. This spectacular event will unfold at the Dacotah Bank Center in Brookings, SD, featuring an array of electrifying performances. Mark your calendars for back-to-back action starting Friday, April 12, through Saturday, April 13. Tickets will be available starting Friday, January 26, at the Active Heating Box Office and can be purchased online at www.Ticketmaster.com.

Rodeo enthusiasts are invited to witness adrenaline-pumping competitions beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 12, with additional rounds on Saturday, April 13, at 1:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. This two-day extravaganza, sanctioned by the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association, showcases a variety of events, including Bareback Riding, Barrel Racing, Breakaway Roping, Bull Riding, Goat Tying, Saddle Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, and Tie-Down Roping.

This year’s rodeo offers a range of reserved seating options, including VIP, 200-level, and Pendleton Porch tickets, starting at $25. Special discounts are available for children aged 3-12 in select sections. The Active Heating Box Office will exclusively provide discounts to South Dakota State University students (with a valid Student ID), applicable for select tickets. In support of the SDSU Jackrabbit Stampede Rodeo team, $3 from each ticket sold will be contributed directly to the team.

Elevate your rodeo experience with VIP tickets, priced at $50. These exclusive seats offer unparalleled views and proximity to the arena, placing you at the heart of the action. Availability is limited, and tickets are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Jackrabbit Stampede Rodeo is a collaborative effort between the South Dakota State University (SDSU) Rodeo Club, Sutton Rodeo, and the Dacotah Bank Center.

About the SDSU Rodeo Club

South Dakota State University's rodeo program has a rich history of over 1,200 rodeo team alumni dating back to the first meeting held in the livestock pavilion (now Ag Heritage Museum) in 1952. The program has produced multiple NFR qualifiers, CNFR qualifiers, and regional championships. The SDSU Jackrabbit Stampede Rodeo has been named the Great Plains Region Rodeo of the Year eight times.
